Make your own art
Why spend a ton of money on already made and framed art??
Chances are you already have some beautiful pictures and don’t even realize it. I had a calendar one year that I absolutely loved and hated that the year had ended. I ended up removing the pictures from the calendar and framing them for my kitchen.
People always comment on how much they love them. It was so simple and inexpensive to do. You can do it to!
THINGS YOU’LL NEED
• Frames (8 x 10 or 11 x 14) depending on pictures.
• Calendars that are out-dated with nice pictures.
• Photos Mattes (buy or have cut to size).
• Scissors for trimming calendar pictures.
1. Save any calendar pages that you can use for framing in a file folder. This will keep them from getting damaged until you are ready to frame them.
2. Hang on to any frames that can be re-used and made to look like new, with maybe a touch-up of antique gold paint. Wooden frames can easily be polished up to look like new, if they are not chipped.
3. Getting a picture framed and matted at a specialty store can be extremely expensive. Most art or craft stores sell mat board, and will cut it to size for you. You can then attach the picture on top of the mat board and place it in an appropriate frame. Or you can simply cut a sheet of poster board to the size of the frame you are using. Depending on the style of the picture, you can design your own mat using various colors or patterns of paper.

Oh how I love this Ideas, how to make something out of nothing =)! I print pictures i love from Internet and make stuff… Me and my daughter just made a barbie house that way and she is sooo proud of it, moore so than if we just bought one.
