1. Chocolate contains a neurotransmitter called serotonin, that is a natural anti-depressant

2. Scientists have recently found out that chocolate doesn’t really cause acne like over the decades we’ve been lead to believe, in fact, cocoa butter can help keep your skin looking great!

3. It actually provides us with some great vitamins like B1, B2, D, and E

4. Packed with fat and calories, but the occasional chocolate bar can help prevent binge eating for someone trying to eat healthier

5. Chocolate contains a mood elevator called phenyl ethylamine

6. Cocoa butter, an ingredient in chocolate contains oleic acid, a mono-unsaturated fat which actually raises good cholesterol

7. Chocolate raises antioxidant levels in your blood
