Peppered Flank Steak

  • grilled-flank-steak1 1/2 lb. lean flank steak
  • 1 tsp. cracked or freshly ground pepper
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 1/4 tsp. kosher salt
  • 1 tsp. olive oil
  • 1 tbsp. balsamic vinegar
  • 2 tbsp. fresh lemon juice

Rub the steak with the pepper and salt.

In a skillet, heat the oil on medium-high heat. Add the garlic and steak. Pour the vinegar over the steak and cook 5 minutes on each side or until the steak is done to your liking.

Cut the steak across the grain into thin slices. Drizzle the lemon juice over the steak and serve.
