A couple of months ago I found an article on the net predicting the entire economic crisis goinng on. Down to the month, he was right on target. He wrote the article in 2004. So I have been following his work. He has gotten so many death threats from bankers that he is now working underground. This is what he sent me this morning. I want you all to read it.

1- get out of gold and silver if you have not done so yet. IT may spike, but
it will drop to the floor, probably this year.
2- keep copies and originals in two separate places (like a safe or a
storage bin) of any debt that you pay off or make a deal on with a creditor.
Keep every scrap and do not do a deal until it is in writing and signed.
Reasons for this will become obvious as in 10 to 20 years later a criminal
debt collector will come after you for the full amount owed and unless you
can prove the 'deal you made' or the payoff, you will be in court fighting
and wasting money. More on this in an article. Keep everything, even the
bankruptcies. Make copies and store them for the next 20 years. You will not
regret it.

3- the market will most likely crash in april. The last month or two has
been some pretty high and low intra day swings. It is back to the 'some govt
official said something' and it goes down or up 200 or 300 points. April is
when the 1st quarter reports will be coming out. Most bailout money will
have been moved out. Foreclosures picking up. Jan was worst in history, feb
was worst since 1933. March has seen the lowest dow in 12 years (so far). I
am expecting sometime this year a small rally of some kind followed by a
crash to 5000....and when they start raising rates again, to 3000 as a
bottom. The early and mid 90's level before the credit bubble appeared.

4- make sure you do not speed. Make sure you car has all lights working. Do
not tailgate. Stop at 4 ways. Do not run yellow lights. Make sure your home
has no code violations outside. Really go over your taxes carefully and
catch up with them now. This is the time when local governments need to make
money. They will ticket you for anything soon. Anything. Broken headlight?
Hey, could be increased to 100 bucks (safety violation). Watch those parking
meters.
All fines will be increased. Just some of the things coming and some already
happening.

5- put your money in a safe or a safety deposit box. Do not trust the FDIC.
That could run out of money if it gets bad, why risk it? Lost a lot in the
market? Really? Or did you just lose gains? Take your money out now before
you lose it all or most of it for real. When it really hits bottom, then
invest. Long term investors need to know when to go all in when a bubble
hits, and all out when a bust happens. Invest at bottom, sell on the way
down or at the top.
Keeping money in their now is just stupid...and you are risking everything.
Money you may need to survive the next few years.

6- Feeling fine where you live? Doing well? Look out for homes that will
fill with squatters. Renters or homeowners that invite 10 or 15 others to
live with them. Be aware that even criminals are taking a bit hit and there
will be increased home invasions, car break ins, even assaults. Make sure
locks are good, sliding glass doors are solidly set, alarm is working. Empty
your car at all times just incase as your house may not be that safe this
year. Get your neighbors on speed dial so any issues you can call them
immediately and then 911. Assaults and robberies happen very quickly.

7- when times are good it is easy to be friends and family. It is easy to be
in a marriage. When times are bad, that is the test. Many marry for
stability, now that may be gone. How do you cope? Sitting down and really
talking about the future, on paper, monetarily is better than hoping it will
go away. A couple (with or without kids) is stronger than a single. You must
learn about each other in ways you have always ignored. You may find the
bread winner is better at taking care of the kids when it is not so easy to
earn it. The housewife may be better at survival and emergency planning than
the bread winner. (A good job does not mean you can handle stress or deal
with financial difficulties).

8- remember you neighbors and friends may be in horrible straights. When you
go and pick on others about how poor their decisions are, remember that
could be you about to be homeless. Help your friends. Be a human.

9- Animals are being abandoned in the millions. They are being left to
starve or dropped off at county shelters to be killed. Shelters that do not
kill are full up. Those shelters make money from donations and adoptions. No
one is adopting and little is coming in donations. Investors, who are going
to lose their home soon, are refusing to accept pets. They are going to lose
the home anyway, but are refusing to accept pets while taking the last and
security and ripping off the renter. Think about that when you see that cute
kitten running around the yard that just suddenly appeared. That kitten has
no survival skills. It will be killed by a car, starve, or worse. (people
are already talking about eating pets to get free meat).

Ok just finished reading what you said...wow...I have been wondering about the fdic and keep asking my mom is she SURE its ok?
Ok i'm confused a bit about the cc record keeping. We have paid off all our cards. Do we still keep our statements of those cards that are paid off? We have closed all accounts except for 2 leaving them open if needed in emergency and our banker said we need to keep them open to prove line of credit...So do I keep it all for 20 years? wow.

I'm so glad you posted this. Tell him we are so thankful to him and for him willing to share this with you. Ask him to keep us up to date please. At this point I really trust him and no one else. He has been so ON so far and really the economy is just tanking fast. He is one smart cookie. I'm sad to hear he is underground. Just goes to show how much control we are under. very sad.

I hate living in this "fear". I try not to watch the news because it's so depressing.

wow! SCARY!!! I am taking most of his advice though! #9 is already here - when the flood hit and people had to leave homes and such there were a bunch of pets left - there was something on the news about this area of town where not many are living since all the houses were "flood" houses and now they are overrun with CATS - HUNDREDS - the city doesn't even know what to do with them!

We had to deal with squatters right before Christmas. We used to rent a house in Detroit that belongs to DMIL. She is 72 and can't deal with the house much so we have been doing what we can being 1/2 hour away. Right before Christmas we got a call from a neighbor that someone had moved into the house in the middle of the night. After a lot of stress and dealing with police we found that someone had kicked in the back door, changed the locks and rented it out to a single Mom. We don't know for sure but we suspect that she was also in on the crime. Her sister was "renting" the abandoned house across the street. And how could she not notice the broken back door. Anyway, we got her out and tried to convince DMIL to just sell the house for whatever she can get but she's holding on to it until the market improves. We lived in this area of Detroit for 20 years but now I am really afraid to go there alone. Last time DH and I were there we found blood in the upstairs bath.

I agree with what that man has said he seems right on the mark. I don't know what is going to happen to this part of the country if GM goes bankrupt! Everything here is based on the auto industry. Personally I am very afraid for all of us right now. I'm trying to keep calm for my families sake but I worry all the time!
