I just had the best conversation with this woman Adriana. You may remember her she was the woman who created the love notes and child cards for HHC a while back?

Anyway she has just recovered from cancer. She is so inspirational. So positive. So happy. She is now concentrating on a new venture to help others. God bless her. God bless all the people on with Green Peace fighting for our clean food. God bless all the women out there fighting for women's rights. God bless all the men fighting for our country. God bless all the people who raise money for military causes, hungry children, and families in need. God bless every local hero who is doing something great in their town.

Think of all the people giving their time for a bigger cause? There is so much to do.

Why not put your energy into something good? Something positive?

Spending time focusing on the wrong things... such a waste of time.

Ask yourself what you can do. Or like JFK said, What can you do for your Country? What can you do to help? What can I do?

Great post Darla! I have gotten more involved with my church and donated a bunch of food that went towards a food drive for Easter. We donated to two families- one was a grandmother raising her 5 small grandchildren and the other was a family with 6 small children. It was heartbreaking because the one little girl with the grandmother got so excited over one small bag of chips. It was like she just got the best toy in the world. We are continuing the food drive at our church every month and I'm head of the committee. There is a lot to do, we could all pitch in a hand even if its something small!
