Every day I wake up at 6:30am and pull my sheets and blankets up. I throw the pillows on, throw pillows, and the bed looks pretty. I go to the bathroom, pee, and then toss in some lysol gel into the toilet. I take a wipe and wipe down the bowl. I brush my teeth, wash my face, put on some mascara, eye shadow, blush, and lipstick. I brush my hair and wipe down the counter with a lysol wipe. I wipe down the mirror with a glass wipe. Toss the garbage into a plastic bag and then toss the dirty towels, garbage bag, over the balcony and then I go wake up Connor. He goes into the bathroom, I make his bed. And I bring down his dirty clothes. I then take all the dogs outside to pee and poop. Then I come back in, wipe the dogs feet with a towel I keep by the back door and put on my coffee, its about 6:55. I yell up for Connor. I make his breakfast which for him is usually toasted bagel with cream cheese and orange juice. He comes down, I help him get packed up, and he is out the door at 7:22. I put in a load of laundry. The I clean the kitchen. Empty the dishwasher, clean the sink, wipe down the counters, vacuum or sweep the floor. I then go around and make sure everything is straightend out, and the house looks presentable (no dirty glasses anywhere no shoes anyplace) Then I sit down and have my coffee, and usually an english muffin, whole wheat. It's 7:40. I go on the internet for a while. I wake up Hannah at 8:30. She goes into the bathroom, and I make her bed, straighten up her room, bring down her dirty clothes. Feed her, pack her up, take her to school at 9:20. I go to yoga, tennis, or sometimes come right back home. I do another load of laundry. Depending on the day I have different chores. I like to pick a project each day. Yesterday I mopped all the wood floors with my steamer. This afternoon after I go to lunch with my friends I have to grocery shop. One morning a week I pull off all the sheets and wash them. One day I dust the entire house thoroughly. I vacuum constantly. So most every day right before the kids come home I am vacuuming. I constantly pick up so you will never find my house messy. I hate clutter so if we aren't using it is packed away. I cook dinner most nights and clean it up immediately. If I stay on top of everything I feel better. And because I am on a schedule I have free time for the mall, yoga, friends, and coming here to chat with you. I use my time. When I am in the bathroom while Hannah bathes I organize the cabinets, wash down the counters, clean the radiators. When the kids are doing their homework at the island I am cooking dinner. When they are in the yard playing I am out there picking up doog poop. Mostly I find that I can keep it all together because we don't watch that much tv. We just don't have time to keep up. Our only show is Malcome in the Middle. I take my showers or baths at night after the children are in bed.
On the weekends I try not to clean. I like to hang out with the family. This Saturday we went to a festival. Sunday I went by my cousins house. We watch movies as a family and or the kids get to watch a kiddie movie down in the basement while Bill and I watch an adult movie.
Women always ask me about my schedule so I just wanted to say that if you keep up on things you won't fall behind. Once a week take a closet and organize it. Once a month wash down all your wood cabinets. Once a month wash your windows. Once a week wipe down your molding. I just washed my wall with the magic eraser and I got all the hand marks and scuff marks off.
I have a homework table in a back room so all the papers, projects, crayons and school stuff stays there in neat basket. I have a desk back there where I do my bills. I am on the computer now, the laptop in the kitchen at the island. This is where I hang out most of the time.
What is your day like?

Today I was wide awake at 4:20 since we went to bed at 10:10 last night. I normally would not get up until 6:30. I decided to take advantage of this time and get the plants ready for being back indoors. I trimmed them and have them ready to be treated for any little bugs that may have decided to live in the soil for the summer. Hubby came down shortly after I finished and made me coffee. We sat and chatted and watched Fox News together. We decided to go wake the children up for breakfast at 6:45 and we all had breakfast together. Everyone was dressed and ready for our day by 7:30. We did a few hours of school and started to work on a sewing project for class this afternoon. I was able to get all the laundry down, beds made, bathrooms cleaned up, kitchen cleaned up and now lunch started. I have to make great use of time since we keep so busy with homeschool and different activities. I have great little helpers around here so I rarely have to dust or swiffer the floor. They love to do that! So, basically, I don't have a set schedule when I will vacuum or clean up a room. I do it when it starts to show the need for it. I hate clutter also so I am on top of it the entire day. I do it without even thinking about it.
