Sports swap!

Spring sports season is just around the corner. It makes me crazy when I think about the cost involved in the town sports. Besides the registration fees you have the uniform. The kleets, the gloves, the bats, and what do you do if you have five or six children? I would love to start a sports swap. Why should this stuff go to waste? How about the dancing shoes? Those tap shoes are $50. And what about the dance costumes? The soccer chin guards? How about the helmets? It is crazy that moms every place aren't swapping this stuff. What do you think? Have you seen any programs like this?

That sounds fab! My kids school does something similar. Several times a year they ask parents to donate old school uniforms, PE kits, bags and accessories and then they sell them on a table outside the front reception area for next to nothing (I picked up about £120 worth of clothing for my kids last year for £8!). The school uniform is just ridiculously overpriced and at the time my kids all needed PE kits and new trousers...

Maybe you could do something like that - I'm sure loads of people would appreciate it?
